Urbex Living launch ‘The Wellington Collection’ within the sought-after pocket of Manly
Nationally acclaimed developer, Urbex, has launched The Wellington Collection in Brisbane’s Eastern Bayside suburb of Manly under it’s newly launched Urbex Living brand.
Urbex, a wholly owned subsidiary of the BMD Group, launched Urbex Living late last year which expands Urbex’s capacity to offer low to medium density and detached housing to meet the needs of Australian’s today and into the future.
The Wellington Collection will consist of eight architecturally designed residences, each with spacious home like proportion floor plans, large balconies designed to capture the north easterly aspect and sweeping 270 degree views across Manly Harbour, the mainland coastline and out to Moreton Bay and North Stradbroke Island.
Designed by local and internationally renowned architects, Ellivo, ‘The Wellington Collection’ has been inspired by nature to embrace the connection between coastal and community. A premium offering incorporating clean lines and curves carried throughout the external and interior design enhances leading edge design.
The Wellington Collection has been designed to take in the site’s expansive bay views; making the most of the relaxed bayside lifestyle. By working with the natural slope of the site, each residence has been designed to open up to the desirable Northern orientation and Moreton Bay views; allowing for an ideal living environment with an abundance of natural light and cross-ventilation. Conceived as a series of individual homes – made up of a mix of apartments and townhomes – each residence has a strong identity, with landscaped arrival courtyards that offer a layered entry experience.
The architecture is made up of an arrangement of screens, walls and balustrades that act together to balance views, natural light, and ventilation with the need for privacy. The building edges are rounded off, which helps to widen the view corridor to the north eastern bay views. A natural, textured material palette compliments the surrounding coastal region, while also fitting in with the character of the existing residential neighbourhood.
The apartment and townhome interiors have been carefully considered to offer residents a relaxed, casual living environment – perfect for entertaining, as well as day-to-day living. This is done with expansive indoor and outdoor living areas, served by a well-appointed kitchen complete with a large island bench, butler’s pantry, bar, and a luxurious integrated fridge. As an added feature, the town homes also have a secondary outdoor entertaining space with plunge pool and lounge deck; surrounded by lush, subtropical landscaping. Finally, the complex houses a communal residents’ lounge, dining room and pool for residents to enjoy.
Urbex Living Development Director, Carl Bruhn said the site’s location has been key to envisioning a development that appeals on many levels, from north easterly aspect to spacious floor plans, high quality specifications and elevation to capture view out over Moreton Bay in the tightly held enclave in Manly. Well positioned and a short stroll to the modern Manly Village retail and restaurant precinct.
Craig Covacich, General Manager of Urbex Realty said the scarcity of a development providing such vast floorspace, luxury and views will make these residences particularly attractive.
“It’s perfectly positioned to balance easy access to Brisbane CBD and the suburb’s bustling amenity with the space, design, views and that coastal living feel.”
The development is located on Wellington Street, cornered by Arnold Street and Oceana Terrace. Due to expected demand, it is recommended interested parties register via the enquiry form below the image.
